Rosencrantz series
[modifica wikitesto]Hello, your edit on the article on the Riemann zeta-function is without sources and not correct. This is already clear by looking at what happens at s->1^+. At first order your series behaves like and thus is asymptotic to as s -> 1^+, whereas . Basically the problem is that you're only considering products of up to 3 primes. In any case, notice that you can not publish original research on Teknopedia.--15:06, 11 dic 2023 (CET) --Sandro_bt (scrivimi) 15:06, 11 dic 2023 (CET)
- Could you explain where the errors are precisely in the reasoning? Thanks

- For example for s=2 it converges even more rapidly, so if you replied back it would be great, thanks.

- It is not so straightforward to pinpoint a single step, because the exposition is not very clear. The problem is where you extend your initial argument, considering the product of the first three primes, to the whole infinite product. Also, if you write down the first few terms of your sum, you see that you are not getting the 1/n^s for all n. In any case, this discussion is out of place in Teknopedia, since it's original research.--09:35, 12 dic 2023 (CET)
