2016-17 (R-SENIOR): Helped CSUB reach school's first National Invitational Tournament and become first No. 8 seed in NIT history to reach NIT semifinal…Named to CollegeInsider.com Defensive All-America Team and NABC All-District 6 Second Team…named to First Team All-WAC and All-Defensive Team…became just 12th ‘Runner to score 1000 career points during first round of WAC Tournament...reset the CSUB Division I single-season record with 500 points…led team with 14.3 points and 31.7 minutes played per game…third on team with 4.7 rebounds per game…second with .367 three-point percentage…one of two ‘Runners to start all 35 games…consistently guarded opposing team's top scorer and led CSUB defense to be ranked in Top 15 in NCAA Division I in steals (286) and turnovers forced (16.6) per game and field goal percentage defense (37.2)…scored career-high 31 points Nov. 15 at Arizona, eventual Sweet 16 participant.
2015-16 (R-JUNIOR): Helped ‘Runners reach school's first NCAA Division I Tournament…was fifth on the team in scoring (10.2), third in rebounding (4.1), fourth in assists (62), and led CSUB in free-throw percentage (.771)…named to Western Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team after averaging CSUB-best 14.7 points per game…was fifth in WAC in free-throw percentage…scored in double-digits in 16 games…scored season-high 17 points at UC Riverside Jan. 2…had 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in WAC quarterfinal win over Chicago State Mar. 10.
2014-15 (R-SOPHMORE): Started 26 of 33 contests in 2014-15...averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds per contest for CSUB...led the 'Runners in scoring four times including a career-high 20 points vs. Idaho State in a 59-50 win...was 8-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range...scored 16 against Missouri-Kansas City on Jan. 22...also made the game-winning shot with two second left against UMKC Feb. 21…top five in the Western Athletic Conference in free throw percentage (77.2%).
2013-14 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Selected first team All-Conference for Ventura College...the second leading scorer on the team at 14.6 points per game, shot over 45% from the floor and over 44% from three-point range...earned Western Conference Player of the Week honors on one occasion and was selected MVP of the 2012 Antelope Valley College Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bowman Leadership Academy in Gary, Ind. playing for head coach Marvin Rea.
PERSONAL: Born March 13, 1993...son of Gregory and Tia Airington...a PEAK major...hopes to continue playing basketball after graduation or become a physical therapist to remain close to the game.
