Descrizione |
English: Wilhelmson portrays his younger sister Anna wearing a yellow and white striped dress seated at a table writing – perhaps a letter. Briefly lifting her pen from the paper, she gazes at the viewer. The work was painted in their childhood home at Fiskebäckskil in Bohuslän. The sun shines brightly through the window’s lace curtains and the open door. The entire room is sunlit, which evokes the feeling of an idyllic summer. The yellow colour is echoed in the walls, textiles and flowers. |
